John adams

John Adams was an American politician. John Adams came in the early stages of the American Revolution. In 1770, a street confrontation resulted in British Soldiers killing five civilians in what became known as the Boston Massacre. They asked John Adams to defend them. Although John Adams feared it would hurt his reputation, he agreed. Two British soldiers were charged with murder for shooting directly into the crowd. Thomas Preston, gave John Adams a symbolic "single guinea" as a retaining fee, the only fee John Adams received in the case.
